KU Energy Council Goals

• Promote KU as a resource for high-quality energy research and education in the context of economic growth in Kansas
• Expand the current portfolio of energy research a KU through new partnerships and collaborations
• Increase collaboration with industry (e.g., oil and gas, biofuels, automotive), state agencies, other universities
• Increase funding for energy research from public and private sources
• Promote visible research outputs in energy subjects
